Tranexamic Acid - a synthetic amino acid that is used in dermatology mainly to reduce hyperpigmentation. It is not a direct tyrosinase inhibitor. It reduces melanogenesis by inhibiting the activity of plasmin induced by ultraviolet (UV) light, responsible for stimulating tyrosinase activity. This way, it inhibits the production of melanin, reducing existing discolorations and preventing the formation of new ones. Very effective in reducing fresh acne discolorations and in treating rosacea thanks to its soothing properties. It reduces the visibility of skin vascularization, therefore it perfectly complements the care of vascular and sensitive skin.

Maltobionic Acid - derived from maltose (a plant sugar), a versatile and powerful yet non-irritating next-generation bionic acid (BA) that offers moisturizing, antioxidant, firming, pigment-balancing and collagen-preserving benefits. By inhibiting glycation, it slows down the skin's aging processes, visibly smoothes its structure and reduces wrinkles. Protects collagen and skin cells against oxidative stress and photo damage. Gently exfoliates without causing allergies or skin irritation. Additionally, it is an excellent water-binding humectant, which effectively prevents TEWL. Glycolic Acid - alpha hydroxy acid obtained from sugar cane. It has the smallest particle of all AHA acids, therefore it has the most effective skin penetrating ability. Its spectrum is very broad and depends on its concentration and combination with other active ingredients. In Sunset Serum it moisturizes and regenerates the skin, gently exfoliates, stimulating the skin's self-renewal. It supports the production of collagen and elastin, thus improving skin’s elasticity, smoothness and firmness. Safe and effective for all skin types, especially mature skin with wrinkles, discolorations and imperfections.

Salicylic Betaine - is an amino acid derived from sugar beet. It combines salicylic acid, a famous anti-acne exfoliant, and betaine, which perfectly soothes and moisturizes the skin. This natural and gently exfoliating combination effectively smoothes, moisturizes and improves skin texture. It has strong anti-acne, antiseptic and keratolytic properties. It regulates sebum secretion, thus cleansing the skin of blackheads. It reduces pores and imperfections.

AHA fruits complex - contains a wealth of AHA acids (malic and tartaric acid) and natural fruits extracts from apples, grapes, blueberries, lemon and sugar cane. The complex has a comprehensive effect on exfoliation and cell renewal of the skin. Smoothes, brightens and evens out the skin tone, restoring its natural glow. It provides a powerful dose of antioxidants that effectively eliminate free radicals.

Vitamin B12 - naturally derived vitamin helps soothe sensitive and stressed skin. Protects against skin barrier damage caused by inflammation and UV radiation. It plays an important role in accelerating cell regeneration. It brings particular relief to dry, sensitive skin, including those with atopic inflammation.

Sunset Serum is available in a fully recyclable glass bottle, with glass pipette and recyclable Polypropylene (PP) ring.

Its secondary packaging (outer box) is made of FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certificated paper, which signifies that the production of this fully recyclable paper product originated from a forest that was managed carefully with trees, animals, and local community benefit at heart. Boxes are not coated with a laminated layer not to compromise biodegradability and recyclability. Also, they are not wrapped in a foil to minimize the amount of generated plastic.

Recycling is important and we encourage you to do it in few simple steps:

1. After unboxing, fold the paper insert and outer box and dispose them into paper recycling bin.

2. Once you finish your Sunrise Serum, remove the applicator and dispose it into general bin.

3. Remove any excess from the bottle and dispose it into a glass recycling bin. You don’t need to wash it.
